    The greek food

Who doesnt like the greek food, right? That’s only one of the many reasons I’ve gone back to Greece, I’ve actually been to quite a few of the islands but also on the mainland. I simply love Greek food, the lamb, the seasoning, tzatziki and all of the different small fingerfoods that are always served as appetizers. But my absolut favorite is lamb kleftiko. It’s a rustic, traditional Greek recipe made with slow cooked lamb, first marinated in garlic, olive oil, feta cheese and lemon juice.Have you ever tried it? //Ann

  • Spain - Barcelona

    La Bouqueria in Barcelona

I just love strolling in La Bouqueria in Barcelona, it’s one of my favorite places in the city. It is located in the city center of La Rambla, superhard to miss, even if you try your best. The market sells food and fresh produce of the highest quality, and you are most welcome to a sample. Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria as as it’s actually called is one of Europe’s largest and most famous food markets. Foods are priced similarly to a quality restaurant, and one might think that’s a bit much, but the freshness of the produce is well worth it. I do recommend that you visit…

  • Scotland - Edinburgh

    More of Edinburgh

Yes I know I’ve already shown you a great bunch of images from my weekend in Edinburgh, Scotland, but you’re gonna see a whole lot more. I am so in love with this city. I mean, look at the images below, that architecture, how can you not fall in love? Here’s hoping, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get to see Edinburgh again during the spring, I would love to go there during the Beltane fire festival. The last time we were in Edinburgh we missed the Samhuinn Fire festival by just a few days, so we saw all the preparations around the city and that really inspred…

The only way to survive autumn…

They say summer is over, autumn is creeping up on you. Feels kind of like that episode Game of Thrones, when they say “Winter is comming” … Yes, autumn is here. I give in. But instead of the mother of dragons comming to our rescue, it’s time to put a coat on. I know, less dramatic, but still cold. But I say that the only way to survive autumn, is to book a trip. //Ann

  • Italy - Venice

Experiencing Venice for the first time

As you can see this trip was some time ago, but I thought I would share some of my experience anyways. Italy has always been a dream of mine, so of course, I wanted to go to Venice and see this romantic and beautiful city in person. We actually lived about twenty minutes away from Venice, so we traveled by bus every day from a smaller town called Treviso. That’s my advice of the day if you’re going to Venice, live in Treviso. It’s close to the airport, the town is really cute and the local bus works just fine. And to be honest, there are some cute restaurants in…

  • Greece - Rhodes

    Old town rhodes

We’ve all been to Greece, right? One of the most amazingly beautiful places I have been to in Greece is the Island of Rhodes, and more specificly the old town in Rhodes. One of the reasons that I enjoyed the town is that it got some medieval history, The knights hospitallers captured and established their headquarters on Rhodes when they left Cyprus, after the persecution of the knight in Cyprus. The pope confirmed the Hospitallers possession of the Island in 1309m, where they remained for the next two centuries. So why the Knights Hospitallers? We havent shown you a lot of images from when we visited Gotland and the medieval week,…

  • Marocko - Agadir

    Marocko – Agadir
