The cherryblossoms in Stockholm
Don’t miss an update!Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. There’s not really any need for words to describe images like this right? We have been talking about going to Stockholm in Sweden during springtime just to see the cherry trees in bloom for… I don’t know, years and years. And to be honest, I did not plan to visit this year at all, it just kind of happen so why not stop for some quick photos. Don’t you just love cherry blossoms?

Best places to eat in Trosa
Tullhuset We had white wine and smoked shrimps, as I told you in an earlier blogpost. (read it HERE, if you missed it.) It’s just amazing to eat shrimps like this, just having a longer sitdown, pealing your own shrimps, and eating your meal at a much slower pace. If you’re into shrimps I would totally recommend you going to Tullhuset, the size of the basket was large but to half the price of the neighboring restaurants. I’m just saying… Marina Libanese Restaurang in Trosa I had never eaten Lebanese food before, and you haven’t either, I’ll tell you this – you’re missing out! The…

How’s that buckelist coming?
Don’t forget to check out our other social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I have been trying to figure out how to write a bucketlist for the coming travel season, whenever that might start, and however that might look… We don’t really know when we’ll be able to travel safely again, so it’s hard to give some kind of prediction for when we might get back out there. And I don’t want to be unsafe, so I will not rush it at all, but a girl can still dream, right? I am thinking that maybe it’s for the best to stay within the closer areas of Sweden, and maybe…

Staycation at Gålö campsite
I have been dreaming of going on a vacation for quite a while now, like most of you – and the rest of the world, so we tried our best to find a place where we can have a staycation and stay safe at the same time. We did a lot of research and found that having a staycation at Gålö Campsite was perfect for us! From the beginning of the weekend until the end, we meet no-one other than the friends we shared the cottage with, so we practiced social distancing and had a corona-safe weekend. The check-in was done online and we picked up our key to the…

Top 5 travel destinations
We’ve been challenged by Rejse Guide af Guld to tell you about our Top 5 travel destinations, I am going to start by telling you that picking five of the trips we have done over the years – that’s not an easy task, but I will try my best. There are so many different reasons to why a trip could have easely been the best, but it’s not about the trip itself, but about the desination so I have tried to stick to the destinations that have kind stuck with me after visitng and that I would really like to re-visit for some specific reason. EDINBURGH Does this come as…

Walk in the snow
Don’t forget to check out our other social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I am not usually the one who likes the cold weather but I can’t deny that when the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and the snow is crunching beneath your feet while you’re out for a walk, it’s pretty amazing. A beautiful swedish winterday. At least when you’re in the right type of clothing, so layer up and get out there, start enjoying the day! We’re social distancing as much as possible, and staying out of the more crowded areas of the city, so going for a bit of a walk in the countryside…

4 tips for great cocktails in Stockholm
Bodarna by Melanders Margaritas @ Exit Milkshake @ BC Burger Caipirinha @ Liberdade Dont forget to join us on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest for daily updates and more images. I know that you’re not supposed to go out for a drink right now in Stockholm due to the pandemic, and I am not encouraging that at all, that’s not the point of this post. All restaurants and pubs are closing by eight o clock and I can only imagine how hard that must be on the economy. I just want to give a bit of a shoutout to a few of my favorite places in Stockholm when it comes to…

Idre Skiresort
A lot of Swedes travel to the northern parts of Sweden during the winter for some alpine skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, or some other mountain and wilderness activity, so to start this year off we thought we’d try it out… well, not the skiing or the hiking, but at least we’ll try out the cabin-living in the winter-wonderland. I will stretch as far as go sledding, but that’s as far as I’ll go when it comes to sports. Hot chocolate and a warm fire, that’s more me. I’ll check back in in a while, with some more info, details, and lots and lots of images, but until then…

Review of 2020
Oh yes, we did reviews of our travel years 2018 and 2019 so why should 2020 be any different one might ask… well, it’s 2020, so it’s different but we’re gonna do our best to at least do a review of our travels within Sweden. Enjoy the read! January Athens, Greece June Trosa, Sweden Yupp, we started the year in Athens, Greece where we spent the first two days of January, but those two days were the only two days we spent abroad all year. We had a lot planned though, and then the first wave of the Corona-pandemic hit us which ment that we could only travel causiouskly within…
