The harbour area in Funchal
I really loved walking around in the area of the harbour in Funchal, Madeira. It had everything. Beautiful parks with greeneries. Resturants and pubs. A small amusement park with a few rides. And watching the big cruiseships dock for the night, while sipping a drink in the sun, that’s really not a bad way to end off a great day. //Ann

Portraits at the Guinness Storehouse
Us, infront of the indoors waterfall at the Guinness Storehouse. Just walking around at the Storehouse gave a lot of portrait opportunities, there were so many beautiful and cool locations that just gave a pretty backdrop. It was really hard though, trying to fit in between all the tourists just to get that one image. Meaning, we did not do what I always tell you guys, to go there in the morning or right before closingtime, we were there midnoon ofcourse. //Ann

Jureskogs burgers
Sometimes I’m drawn to healthy foods and I do have a tendency to plan for exercise, but the chooseatarian in me is often to strong to overcome. That means I’m mostly pleased if theres a little lettuce on my pizza, or happy about the lemon with my tequila. I choose meat, junkfood and a great drink to follow. So when my brother suggested, formerly known as Big S if you are one of those who read my old blog, that we take a look at Jureskogs Restaurant in the center of Stockholm, I quickly agreed. So our plan was that we celebrate Big S’s birthday with burgers and a few…

Enjoy life
Once in a while you step into a hotel that’s just made for relaxing and enjoying life. The hotel we stayed at in Madeira was just like that, carefully decorated with small cozy corners everywhere. Don’t you just love this pinkish purple one? //Ann

Images from The Guinness Storehouse
We took a lot of images a the Guiness Storehouse. I mean, really a lot, lots and many. I cant even show you half of it, I would overload the blog with Guinness. That a thought. Anyways, I’m just gonna show you a bunch of the images and I’m gonna tell you more in the following posts. Okey?

Magical sunsets
As I have told you through out the entire trip to Madeira, the sunsets on the island are pure magic. But then again, so are the sunrises. I cant even begin to count the number of pictures that I took either of sunsets or sunrises. There were different colours every day, pink, yellow and purple. Where have you seen the best sunset or sunrise? //Ann #travelblogger #sunrise #sunset #travelphotography #portugal #nature

Gotland
Yes Gotland and especially Visby, has gained a special place in my heart during the last last couple of years. You know I’ve told you that we go to Gotland one week every summer just to be apart of the medieval week. Which is awesome, you should really try it if you havent already. But I wanted to show you a little bit of why Visby is so popular. Look at these images of the surroundings. And this is just images from the center of Visy, around the encircling walls with its twentyseven towers. The entire island is filled with wonders and magic. It kind of has everything. History, beauty,…

Tv-series that inspire traveling
Well yes, while our boys would say that there’s no need to inspire us to travel, you always find inspiration somewhere, right? When Maria from Fantasydining wrote about how she experienced Paris like a Gossip Girl, it made me think of a lot of different movies and tv-series that have inspried me to travel or made me want to visit a place. Enjoy the read, hopefully it will inspire you to in some way, maybe to travel or to reenter the magical world of marathon watching old series. I mean, what better way to start the autumn right, with some great tv-serier that will inspire your travelling and a cup…

Taxiko SteakHouse
We found Taxiko Steakhouse through trivadvisor and I must say do to it’s really good reviews I was skeptical to say the least. I rarely trust the great reviews and I’m always affaraid to be misslead by a hyped resturant, That was not the case. Taxiko was everything one could wish for, and more. The staff was really friendly and helpfull, the location was great, live music playing all the time and the food… the food was amazing. Just look at the first image of the stake sizzeling on a hot stone. Mouthwatering. I would definatly recomend Taxiko steakhouse to anyone whos ever on the beautiful island of Madeira, if…
