So last week we visited this really cool restaurant in stockholm called Aifur, its kind of a feast hall in old part of town decorated in vikingstyle, with a separate bar area. Staycation before Vacation
Yes, I need a staycation before we head off to vacation! Well, its not the matter of needing as off… well, needing. Our plane leaves really early in the morning when we’re heading to Athens in Greece, so theres not way for us to get with public transportation to the Arlanda airport in Stockholm Sweden from where we live. Oh yes, gifts is always a hassel to find and I am guessing its even harder for people to find gifts for travellers, if you dont buy a trip. Yeah yeah we have all done it, strolled around the most expensive parts of town, looking into the windows of the haute couture boutiques. Travelling with kids
Our new travelcompanion is arriving in about six weeks and I cant wait to show her the world. Both me and aunty Ann is superexited about whats to come, like what will it be like? Well, the question is, as the topic says – has the summer come to an end? I hate the thought of it, but it seems like we dont really have a choice in the matter, or even a vote. The summer is ending. The season is turning, its getting colder and the autumn wether is showing off its power. When you live in a small town like we do, you tend to forget how beautiful local scenery can be, so once in while you kind of need a reminder. Nynäshamn is a classic summercity, as soon as the summer strikes the city is in full bloom, vibrant and full of people. There is live music in the harbor area almost every night, even on the weekdays and tourists everywhere. That’s when us locals try to find a quiet space, with fewer people. Funny right? Rollers & Bowlers
They say its a sportsbar and amusementcenter with an american diner experience. I say thats about right. The place looks absolutly amazing, the interior design is to die for. Its kind of a gasstation diner with pastel cubicles where you enjoy your foods and maybe a shake. The walls are covered with cool paintings and quirky looking objects. They serve everything from meetballs and lasagna, to burgers, wraps and american pan pizzas. The lunchmenu is about 10 €, so its well worth the price. When swedes are getting ready for summer, that means getting the patio in order, pulling out the grill, bringing forth the winterstored furniture, planting some new flowers and maybe buying some new garden decorations, simply preparing for the barbaque season.
