The first snow
The first snow fell today, well there was some during the weekend as well, but not like this. Today is the first day I wake up and there’s snow on the ground. So winter is not just coming, it’s here. I dont really mind the snow anymore, I use to but nowadays I kind of like it. If I could choose I would take away some of the cold, but since I cant I rather try to see the beauty of it. Gin & Tonic with Cucumber
Have you ever tried a Gin & Tonic with Cucumber?After devouring gin and tonics in Budapest I found a great recipe online that I modified a bit so I thought I’d share it with you:Ingredients: 50-60 ml gin ice cold tonic water 1 lemon sliced into wedges 4 strips fresh cucumber ice Instructions: My personal favorit is to squeeze the lemon on the topedge of glas, it gives the drink some more sourness and freshness. Pour the gin into two glasses then top with a wedge of lemon and two slices of cucumber. Add the ice then pour over the tonic water. Squeeze in a little more fresh lemon juice…

London
Its seems like Iv’e been to quite a alot of places that was not really on my bucket list. London is one of the places. I’ve heard so many people saying that they just love London, and it’s not that cant see why… but I just dont. Maybe is has to do with the high fever I had during most of the trip, but I feel that London is not a city that keeps me wanting more. There are so many ofther places I rather go to. Your booking is unavalibe!
The day before we were going to Prague I got a call from a strange number, so ofcourse I didnt pick up. So they called again. And again. And left a voicemail telling me to call the bookingagency. And I got an email telling me to call them urgently. As it turned out, the appartment we were suppose to stay in was unavalible and we had to find another place to stay for the duracion of our visit in Prague. Eek! Of course I freaked out, wouldnt you? Are you ready for autumn?
I know it’s been autumn for quite some time now, but that’s been good and bright side of autumn, the colourful season. We’re now heading into the season of grey, and not even fifty shades, just the one toned brownish grey that’s gonna stick with us until the end of april, accept for the snow. Cruise on Danou River
Going on a cruise on Danou river made our first day in Budapest really great. It was an exellent way of getting a view of the entire city, giving you a two hour trip to plan what kind of sightseeing you would like to do. Our trip cost about 20€, and that inclued a welcomedrink and two drinks of choise. But there were several different cruises you choose from, dinnercruises, Budapest by night, brunchboats, you name it. There are even boats with live music and dancing if you packed your sealegs. Beerspa
The one thing that made our trip to Prague a one of a kind was experiencing was visiting a the beer spa. We booked our spa treatment from home, a few weeks before the trip, just to make sure we would get an appointment. You could probobly book it whilst you’re in town aswell, there are a few places around the city that has a similar thing. But why risk it, when its so easy to book your appointment online. So, you get your own rooms, with two tubs, connected to four beer taps where there’s free, unlimited beer for the entire time of your beer-bubblebath, both lager and dark…

Drinks before the cruise on danou river
Yes, there’s going to be lots and lots more of images from Budapest. This is just to show of a winestop before the cruise on danou river. This was one of the more expensive places we ended up on, I do belive the bottle of wine cost us about 20€. Have I told you that we only visted the Pest side of Budapest whilest we were in Budapest for a long weekend, there was simply not enough time. The only time we saw anything of Buda was from the cruiseship.
