    Torö Stenstrand

Its not that I havent been to Torö Stenstrand before, I have been a few times, its just that I havent really noticed the beauty. I dont know why really, when you think of it, its kind of silly. Its a hidden gem, hiding in plain sight. This amazing beach is located about 30 minutes from where I live and during the summertime it feels like you’re abroad when your at this beach. Its always quite windy here, but thats kind of nice. To get there, you’ll catch the train from Stockholm to Nynäshamn, and then go by bus. Be aware though, the busses only leave every two hours, so…

A different angle on the Süleymaniye Mosque

I know right? Its really stunning, this is the Süleymaniye Mosque mosque aswell, just from another angle. There are several entries to the mosques surrounding areas and you get kind of a different experience depending on where you enter. This part had this beautiful garden and graveyard, some catacombs and some sleeping kittens. So its not just a historical site, its also a peaceful greenery that had a relaxed feeling to it. The cats are free to go where ever they want in Istanbul, trye’re well liked. We even found one playing around inside the shoe of a tourist, so cute, //Ann Dont forget to join us on Facebook andInstagram…

    On a street in Madrid

So I’m gonna tell you about this photoblooper. Well not so much as a blooper, she looks beautiful right? But as you stop on different places around the streets of Madrid you have to be aware of your surroundings. Or atleast one might think you should be aware of the traffic. But no. So in the middle of the photosession I saw “bus!”, trying not to get them killed by the oncomming bus arriving on the street. Neither of them really heard me, so what I get is “puss”, which is kiss in swedish, but it rhimes with bus and sounds kind of alike…. They did not get hit by…

    Turkish beer

This weeks friday drinks is beer, and turkish beer. Im guessing most of you have had an EFES or two on one of the many beaches in the Antalya area, but have you ever tried a Bomonti? EFES Bomonti EFES Xtra shot So, EFES we know of, and thats kind of a light pils, nothing really remarkable but still a good friend on a hot day. The Bomonti on the other hand, now thats a best friend. They come in several different types, unfiltered, red ale, black and malt. The Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque is defenatly one of those historical sites, or tourist attracktions if you like, that one’s suppose to see when you’re in Istanbul. It was 36 degrees celsius and thats 96.8 degrees fahrenheit. We had just stood in line for fourty minutes to enter the Hagia Sofia Museum, so I was not really in the mood the stand in another crowded line. Yes, I did it again. I was at the must-see places during the time when every one else was to, at the high point of the day. So this is all I’ve got of the famous Blue Mosque. //Ann Dont forget to join us on Facebook…

    Süleymaniye Mosque

It is the second largest mosque in the city, so its a well known tourist site for sure and after beeing there, I can totally understand why. This was my favorite building to visit in Istanbul, it was calm and quiet. Big enough to hide all the wandering tourists. And yes, I know, its a lot of images and I do promise, there will be more because this is one mosque that we revisited during our stay in Istanbul, both day and night, without me realising we’d just entered the same huge magical place from a different angle. But I will show you more in a different post,…
